Ms. Wu joined Haiwen in July 2020. Before joining Haiwen, Ms. Wu worked at the Beijing office of Shearman and Sterling LLP and the Beijing office of Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP from 2011.
In the area of M&A transactions, Ms. Wu's representative transactions include advising TPG in the sale of its stake in United Family Healthcare to New Frontier Corporation, a SPAC listed on NYSE; advising Temasek in its investment in Ant Financial; advising Shiji Retail Information Technology in its sale of 38% equity interests to Alibaba; advising the special committee of iDreamSky Technology Limited in the company's going private transaction; advising the independent committee of Bona Film Group Limited in the company's going private transaction; advising founders and private equity fund in the going private transaction of Taomee Holdings Limited; advising Bank of Communications Co., Ltd. in the acquisition of Banco BBM S.A., a Brazilian bank; advising Danone in the sale of Dumex Chinese infant formula brand to Yashi; advising Canada Pension Plan Investment Board in its strategic investment in Postal Saving Bank of China; advising buyer consortium in the acquisition of Pfaudler Process Solutions Group; advising a consortium of financial investors in the acquisition of the global BPO business of Aditya Birla Minacs; advising a Chinese company in its investment in an U.S. cosmetics company; advising a financial investor in a number of investments in different companies in the healthcare industry in China; advising a financial investor in its subscription of shares and exchangeable notes issued by a company engaged in fiber or communication network development in Asia; advising a Chinese company in its proposed acquisition of several companies whose headquarters are located in Europe; advising TPG, Bain Capital, Hillhouse Capital, CDH and other private equity investors in a number of M&A and minority investment transactions.
In the area of capital markets transactions, Ms. Wu's representative transactions include advising Fu Shou Yuan International Group Limited in its HK IPO; advising China Pioneer Pharma Holdings Limited in its HK IPO; advising the underwriters in connection with the HK IPO of China Machinery Engineering Corporation and Beijing Digital Telecom Co., Ltd; advising Qunar in its SEC- registered follow-on offering of ADSs and its issuance of convertible notes; advising the underwriters in connection with the IPO of Tuniu Corporation on Nasdaq; advising Wuzhou International Holdings Limited in its senior notes offering; advising underwriters in the senior notes offerings by Sinochem, Anton Oilfield Service Group and China Shanshui Cement Group.
Ms. Wu received her LLB degree and LLM degree from the Durham University in the UK in 2007 and 2009, respectively.
