Mr. Qiu is a partner in Haiwen's Shanghai office.  Mr. Qiu's practice focuses on capital market, private equity investment and general corporate matters.

Mr. Qiu joined Haiwen in 2021.  Before joining us, Mr. Qiu worked with Fangda Partners and Jingtian & Gongcheng.

representing the underwriters in FEDU's US IPO;

representing the consortium in the privatization of eHi Car Services;

representing WuXi Apptec in its privatization;

representing Focus Media in its privatization;

representing the underwriters in Bright Food’s issuance of offshore notes.

Mr. Qiu's recent experiences in private equity investment include:

representing Sequoia in its Series C and Series D investment in PDD;

representing Alibaba in its Series C and Series D investment in Yi23; 

representing Ouyeel in its first and second round mixed-ownership restructuring and financing.

Mr. Qiu received his LL.B. degree from East China University of Political Science and Law in 2009, and his LL.M. degree from Northwestern University School of Law in 2014. 

Mr. Qiu's native language is Mandarin, and he speaks English fluently.
