    Ms. Kuang is a partner with Haiwen & Partners, Shenzhen office. Ms. Kuang's practice focuses on securities offering, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate matters. Ms. Kuang has been engaged in plenty of M&A, overseas IPO cases and has accumulated experience in these areas.

    Ms. Kuang joined Haiwen in 2015. Ms. Kuang was previously working in Global Law Office, resident in the Shenzhen office, from 2011 to 2015.

    In the PE investments and M&A areas, Ms. Kuang's recent experience includes: representing China Life Insurance acquiring 23.686% shares of CGB China with the price of RMB23.3 billion; representing CGB China in connection with its introducing strategic investors transaction with a total investment amount of RMB30 billion; representing Hillhouse Capital in its investments in ARROW-HOME, MINISO, ECOFLOW, WOW COLOUR and certain other consumer goods and retail companies; representing Tencent in its investment in 77 hub (a SaaS platform for company management), ZEGO CLOUD (an API platform for real time audio), HUANYIN MUSIC (a provider of audio entertainment products), “JIUXIAOER (酒小二)” App, “XIAOHEIHE(小黑盒)” App and etc; representing Sequoia Capital in its investments in PARAMETERS's series B financing; representing Cainiao in its investment in WORLDWISE-LOGISTICS's series C financing; representing certain investor in its investment in JD HEALTH's series A financing; representing certain investors in their investments in SF-INTRACITY's series A&B financing; representing Morgan Stanley Huaxin Fund in its investment in COSMX (one of worldwide major suppliers of consumer polymer soft pouch lithium-ion batteries); representing China-U.S. Green Fund (CUGF) in its investment in IMMOTOR (a national high-tech enterprise and a leading player of green energy network for electric two-wheel vehicles); representing SDIC Fund in its investments in CanSino BIO (a biopharmaceutical company);representing RIBO (a biopharmaceutical company) in its series C financing; representing Hillhouse Capital in connection with the privatization transaction of the US listing company ATA Inc.; representing Ping An in connection with the privatization transaction of the HK listing company WANDA COMM; representing CIC in its investment in Brazil seed business; (as one of the local counsels) representing Bain Capital in connection with its biding on the sale of Mead Johnson's Greater China business.

    In the securities offering areas, Ms. Kuang's recent experience includes: representing the underwriters in connection with the IPO and listing on HKEX of a healthcare products supplier (on-going); representing the underwriters in connection with the IPO and listing on HKEX of a PRC leading shoes & cloth supplier (on-going); representing the underwriters in connection with the IPO and listing on HKEX of a PRC leading fashion supplier (on-going); representing the underwriters in connection with the IPO and listing on HKEX of an overseas education and study consultant (on-going); representing Clarity Medical in connection with its IPO and listing on HKEX; representing the underwriters in connection with TOPSPORTS’s IPO and listing on HKEX; representing IBO TECH in connection with its IPO and listing on HKEX; representing Hydoo in connection with its IPO and listing on HKEX; representing Wuzhou International in connection with its IPO and listing on HKEX; representing Terratech Group Limited in connection with its IPO and listing on Catalist of Singapore.

    In the restructuring and general corporate matters, Ms. Kuang's recent experience includes: representing a PRC game development company in connection with its pre-IPO restructuring; representing Hillhouse Capital in connection with MINISO's pre-IPO restructuring; representing CIC in connection with the pre-IPO restructuring of LinkDoc and MRO; representing ADOLPH in connection with its restructuring and providing legal service on general corporate matters.

  • Education

    Ms. Kuang received her LL.B. degree from the Shenzhen University in 2010 and her LL.M. degree from the University of Illinois in 2011. Ms. Kuang is licensed to practice law in both the State of New York and PRC.

    Ms. Kuang's native language is Mandarin, and she speaks English fluently.
