We are pleased to announce that Taoye Ye has joined Haiwen Partners Shanghai office as an international partner from 3 February 2020.
Ms. Ye has extensive experience in structuring and executing cross-border merger and acquisitions and private equity investments in China, with a particular focus on the real estate sector. She also has substantial experience in the structuring and establishment of onshore and offshore investment funds.
Prior to joining Haiwen, Ms. Ye was a counsel at Allen & Overy. She worked with Allen & Overy Shanghai Office for nine years, and before that with Paul Hastings Shanghai Office for several years. She was recognized by Legal 500 as the next generation lawyer for China corporate / M&A for five consecutive years starting from 2016.
Ms. Ye received an LL.B. and an LL.M. from Shanghai Jiaotong University in 2006 and 2009 respectively, and an LL.M. from Columbia University in 2011. She is admitted to practice law in the state of New York.
